Purvi has worked for over 20 years in the institutional capital management industry as CFO, Partner and member of the investment committee across private equity, venture capital and public equities as well as a CFO of a healthcare informatics company in San Francisco that was exited to a public company. Purvi has served on Boards of private tech and non-tech companies in Silicon Valley and Asia. Purvi experienced significant success in helping build a unique and differentiated tech venture strategy of investing at scale, for an overseas investor. Thereafter, Purvi founded Quain Investments in Silicon Valley with her partner. Quain is the first institutionalized venture capital firm investing at scale in early and growth technology companies in order to drive alpha from tech venture, at significantly reduced risk. Purvi also built and executed a strategy from ground-up, to invest in 750 single family homes for rent across the United States, ultimately exiting this portfolio at stronger than underwritten returns. Purvi has served on the Board of Girl in Yellow Foundation and as Treasurer for the Seattle Chapter of a national professional women’s network developed by Sally Krawcheck, called Ellevate Network.
